"comment": "『Authentic Triumph』\nRank: A+\nNP Type: Self-Targeted\nRange: 0\nMaximum Targets: 1\n\nShatter, Golden Chains and Humiliation.\nThis Noble Phantasm's True Name can only be released when Zenobia truly feels that she has proven herself to be the ideal queen, or when she feels she can prove as much in battle. If she doubts herself, even the slightest bit, it will fail. By channeling every bit of her magical energy, mental energy, willpower, determination, anger, and pride, Zenobia shatters the golden shackles and chains that are deeply tied to her Servant Spirit Origin and transforms into the hypothetical version of herself she always wished to be: a Queen of the East who shook off the defeat and humiliation she suffered at Aurelian's hands and achieved victory over the Roman empire.\n\nRather than physically releasing her body, it enables Zenobia's mind to escape her tainted past, not unlike a conceptual substitution which overwrites the possibility of the flawed, imperfect Zenobia who may have begged for her life in terror from her Servant self, temporarily replacing her very existence with her ideal, perfect self.\n\nWhen this Noble Phantasm's True Name is released, it boosts all of Zenobia's stats to an astonishing degree.",

"comment": "Born to Minamoto-no-Tameyoshi and a prostitute in the fifth year of Houen, A.D. 1139. As a child, his father, Tameyoshi, once said that Tametomo would grow up to be a renowned figure in Japan's western region of Chinzei, and that his skill with a bow would one day surpass that of his ancestors, and he was right. Even from a young age, it was clear to those around him that Tametomo was a gifted warrior.\n\nHowever, Tametomo often butted heads with his brothers, perhaps because they resented his talent. Eventually, his father sent him away to Kyushu in the west of Japan. There, Tametomo continued to make a name for himself in battle, and eventually became known as Chinzei Hachirou. Later, his father was relieved of his post as police and judicial chief for failing to respond to a summons from the Imperial Court. Tametomo, in turn, responded by raising an army of his own and riding out to Kyo to aid his father, only to get caught up in the Hogen Rebellion. He sided with the former emperor, along with his father, but ultimately lost the war. Tametomo's father was executed, and he himself was banished to Izu Oshima. However, not content with his banishment, he began conquering the neighboring islands for himself, which prompted the Imperial Court to send troops after him. Left with nowhere to run, Tametomo ultimately decided to take his own life.\n\nTametomo is said to have been 212cm tall, an exceptional height among the Japanese, especially for the time. Likewise, his bow is said to have been so taut that no ordinary person could hope to draw it on their own.",

"comment": "Chinzei Hachirou: A\nAnother name Tametomo gained after being exiled to Kyushu and ultimately claiming it for himself. There are a number of legends pertaining to this name, including one in which he used his impossibly large and powerful bow to kill two enemies with a single arrow.\n\nIndomitable Bowmanship: B\nTametomo's left arm tendon was severed during his loss at the Hogen Rebellion, but somehow, it mysteriously healed. Some say that he swapped it out for a hydraulic cable...though of course, nobody takes this seriously.\n\nMechanical Archery: EX\nA typical example of Tametomo's launch sequence is as follows:\n\nMoon Shaft: Check.\nBuster Arrow System: 96% charged.\nPile Drive Foot Lock: Connected.\n...Fire!\n\nWith this archery, Tametomo can detect hostile entities, lock on to them, and either fire on them with an automatic homing system, or simply fire an arrow at a location that will maximize destructive potential. And yes, despite what you may think, it is still definitely archery.",

"comment": "『Gouchin Yumiharizuki』\nRank: B+\nNP Type: Anti-Ship\nRange: 5 - 50\nMaximum Targets: One Ship (Easier to count)\n\nThunderous Sinking Moonbow.\nAlso sometimes referred to as \"Moonlight Cannon.\" A recreation of the legend where Tametomo sank an oncoming enemy ship with a single arrow. Even then, he wasn't firing his bow at full power, since the ship in question was made of wood. Now that he is a Servant, he has no qualms about using all of his strength. Furthermore, as his Mystics increase while at sea (specifically, on water) he could still use this Noble Phantasm to deal a fatal blow to a modern day Aegis-class cruiser. For that matter, it's unlikely that even a nuclear submarine could escape this arrow's destructive reach.\n\nWhile it does require a significant amount of time and effort to use this Noble Phantasm in succession, Tametomo is more than capable of keeping enemies at bay while he prepares his next shot. Techniques he uses to do so include rapid-firing weaker arrows to pin enemies in place, or dividing a single shot into three and firing them one after the other.",

"comment": "Originally a fighting machine developed with the same technology used to make the Settsu Armor and meant to be used in battles against oni and monsters. However, by the time he was ready, the number of oni and monsters had dwindled so much that he was no longer necessary for that purpose, and was therefore sealed away before completion. It was not until many years later that his seal was broken and a new engineer filled in the missing parts to turn him into an anti-army warrior. However, it took so long to do so that the engineer ended up using a great deal of custom elements, the origins of which are no longer known. (Not that we know exactly where the technology for the Settsu Armor came from, either.)\n\nDespite his cold logic circuits, he is incredibly competitive and a dreadfully sore loser. He has no interest in authority, and cares only for proving his own might. Very few people knew then or now that he is actually a machine, and only tales of him as a mighty armored warrior have been passed on to later generations. According to Tametomo himself, most people never catch on as long as you act confident.",

"comment": "Fusehime.\nA character in \"Nansou Satomi Eight Dog Chronicles.\" The eldest daughter of Satomi Yoshizane, the founder of the Awa Satomi clan and descendant of Nitta Genji. One day, her father jokingly says to Fusehime's pet dog, Yatsufusa, that he would offer Yatsufusa Fusehime's hand in marriage if only Yatsufusa would bring him back the head of a vexing enemy general. To their surprise, Yatsufusa did exactly that the very next day, prompting Fusehime to volunteer to hide away in a cave on Mt. To along with Yatsufusa in order to keep her father's promise. Over time, Fusehime becomes pregnant from Yatsufusa's spiritual energy, and ends up taking her own life to prove her chastity to her father.\n\nUpon her death, Buddhist prayer beads wreathed in spiritual energy that she wore everywhere she went flew off in eight directions, coming to reside in the bodies of eight dog warriors with ties to the Satomi clan. From then on, Fusehime became the guardian goddess of the Satomi clan, though she protected them from the shadows.\n\nIn Japanese, she uses the highly unusual \"wanami\" as her pronoun for herself. A proud, daring, and righteous woman who refuses to tolerate any wrongdoing, her physical age serves as the base for Kyokutei Bakin's Servant form.\n\nYatsufusa.\nAnother character in \"Nansou Satomi Eight Dog Chronicles.\" An exceptionally large dog who was raised by tanuki, he adores Fusehime with all his heart. Mistakenly taking Satomi Yoshizane's jest about marrying his daughter as having been made in earnest, he hurried off to bring back an enemy general's head and ultimately returned victorious.\n\nAlthough the lingering grudge of former enemies dwelled within his body, he was able to overcome it thanks to Fusehime's sutra readings. Though he unfortunately died of a wound from a stray bullet, in death, he remained by Fusehime's side as her faithful spirit dog.",

"comment": "The \"Nansou Satomi Eight Dog Chronicles\" consists of nine sokan (volumes), ninety-eight scrolls, and one-hundred and six serials. Published over twenty-eight years, this grand epic took Kyokutei Bakin nearly half his life to complete. Kabuki and joururi productions have been a fixture of Japanese theater going all the way back to the Edo period, and its influences on various works across countless genres cannot be overstated.\n\nBakin served as a page until he decided to set out on his own path at a young age, during which he wrote the following haiku:\n\n\"Chilled by winter winds\nI have made a decision\nTo journey with gods\"\n\nWhile certainly an arrogant haiku in that it compares Bakin to the gods who gather in Izumo during Kannazuki, the tenth month of the lunar calendar, one could make a strong argument that the \"Eight Dog Chronicles\" is itself the journey Bakin decided to undertake.",

"comment": "I nock an arrow to my bow and loose it. Its arrowhead easily bores through its target's body. Broadly speaking, human bodies are little more than bags of meat and water. At high speeds, anything sharp can penetrate and, most likely, cause them to cease functioning.\n\nSo then, what if... What if a monster, like myself, were to fire upon people? My arrow gouges out five, ten bodies at a time, and destroys castle gates as though they were made of paper.\n\nSo then, what about a ship? ...See for yourself. My arrow tore it apart, dooming its passengers to drown.\n\nWhile I should perhaps be elated over this accomplishment, my heart also cannot help but ache a bit. Dying to an arrow may be glorious, but dying because your ship was destroyed, without even setting foot on a battlefield, must be anything but.\n\nThe arrow I fired was not one of mercy. Far from it. So please, Master, I implore you to remember this. We may find honor in battle and death, and are thus unafraid to face them. But what is rarely discussed is how countless people have met cruel...far too cruel ends like these.\n\nNo, as ridiculous as it may sound coming from a machine built for battle like myself...there is nothing good about war.",
